Who we are

These terms govern your use of difflore, including the open-source CLI/runtime, hosted cloud service, GitHub App, APIs, dashboard, and related support services.

Legal entity: DiffLore. Mailing address: Delaware, United States. Governing jurisdiction: State of Delaware, United States.

Product boundary

  • The local runtime is open source under Apache-2.0. It includes the CLI, MCP server, TUI, local SQLite storage, and local rule retrieval.
  • difflore Cloud is a hosted, closed-source SaaS collaboration layer for team sync, GitHub App ingestion, rule governance, managed inference, billing, and support.
  • Private deployment is not part of the Free plan. It is scoped separately for Enterprise customers.

Accounts and customer content

You are responsible for account access, workspace membership, GitHub App installation choices, and activity performed under your account. You retain ownership of rules, review metadata, observations, prompts, code excerpts, and other content you submit or sync.

You grant difflore a limited license to host, process, transmit, secure, and display that content only as needed to provide the service, support the product, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

Billing And Plan Changes

  • Self-serve paid plan terms are sourced from the live pricing catalog: Pro at $149/month (200 PRs/mo · up to 5 engineers) and Team at $499/month (1,000 PRs/mo · up to 20 engineers). Founding pricing may close or move to list pricing after the founding cohort.
  • Enterprise uses Custom annual contract. This procurement-led plan may use custom contracts, invoices, or configured billing-provider subscriptions.
  • The configured billing provider (Stripe) handles self-serve subscriptions, payment methods, invoices, taxes where enabled, renewals, failed-payment retries, and customer-portal management.
  • Self-serve plans include hosted review-memory capacity, governance, Reviewer Context distribution, and other managed limits described on the current pricing page. BYOK routes configured inference through your own LLM provider where supported.
  • Cancellations normally take effect at the end of the paid billing period. Refunds, credits, or procurement exceptions are handled by the active customer agreement or by written approval from difflore.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break laws, violate third-party rights, distribute malware, abuse shared infrastructure, evade access controls, attack systems, or resell the hosted service without written permission. difflore may suspend or limit access to prevent abuse, security harm, billing fraud, or operational risk.

AI output and verification

AI-generated suggestions, rules, summaries, and patches can be wrong, incomplete, insecure, or inappropriate for your codebase. You remain responsible for reviewing, testing, and approving any code or operational change before production use.

Availability, changes, and termination

We may change features, plans, pricing, limits, or APIs over time. We aim for reliable service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. You may stop using the service at any time. difflore may suspend or terminate access for material Terms violations, security reasons, or unpaid invoices.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. difflore is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.
